What Do I Need to Do?
Home Plate families are asked to host 2–3 home- based informal dinners over the course of the
academic year for a small group of Washington University students. After the first pre-set dinner
date, students and families will schedule their own dinner plans. Families may choose to continue hosting the same students year after year, if so desired. Some families take on a new student or two each year and have growing families! After receiving the names and contact information of matched students, host families will contact them to finalize dinner plans and make transportation arrangements.
